What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM. If you require different times, please contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Are the cabins Pet-Friendly?

We warmly welcome your canine furry family members! Pets are considered an important part of the family, and we’re happy to accommodate them. There is a pet fee of $100 for the first dog, with an additional $50 for each extra dog, up to a maximum of 2 dogs in Meadow and Preserve; Retreat has a maximum of three dogs. We want your pets to enjoy their stay just as much as you do, so please feel free to bring them along for your mountain adventure.

Do you need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get to the cabins?

The property is accessed via a short 1.5-mile unpaved gravel road, which is common for homes in the Carolina mountains. The road is regularly graded and safe for all vehicles so two wheel drive vehicles are perfectly safe for travel to/from the property. However, from late-December through February, we recommend a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle due to potential snow and ice conditions.

What is the minimum age to rent?

You must be at least 25 to rent one of our cabins. Government-issued photo identification and a credit card, debit card, or cash deposit may be required at check-in for incidental charges

OUR GUESTS SAY

10/10 Excellent

Annual friends and family mountain get away

Our two-family group had a wonderful stay! The property was even nicer than we anticipated, super clean, and all the space was thoughtfully set up for a group. We spent a lot of our time on the porch, soaking in the peaceful view and unwinding in the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary tools, which is often not the case with VRBO homes. The home location is well tucked away from the surrounding area, and full of quiet nature. The kids really enjoyed visiting the stream and tire swing down the road, and we made s’mores at the fire pit by the pond one night. We will definitely look to book this property again! Perfect family getaway cabin. Great for young kids

The cabin is really thoughtfully decorated and felt like home. It was a perfect size for our family of 4 with 2 young children. The wifi worked extremely well and even reached to the firepit area. The property surrounding the cabin was the true star. The trails are beautiful and the fire pit area was awesome. I would recommend bringing chairs as there is only a picnic table. You may have to share the firepit if the other cabin is occupied. We really loved the property and would definitely book again!
